Is John Lee Hooker the G.O.A.T. blues man?

Legendary, John Lee Hooker left a permanent impression on me during his live performance. I distinctly recall how he was gently assisted onto the stage, seated and how his long, skinny fingers twirled as he began strumming his notorious electric guitar, an Epiphone.

Dressed in a white suit and dark sunglasses, JLH filled the venue with his celebrated tunes. Even though he has passed on to “The Great Gig in the Sky”, his musical footprint will live on forever and I am blessed to have witnessed it firsthand.
