THE PSYCHEDELIC FURS give a ride to fans on a musical time machine back to the 80’s at Celebrity Theatre

New Wave, British rockers The Psychedelic Furs gave a full-tilt, rockets-to-the-moon performance on Friday, April 28 at Phoenix’ Celebrity Theatre. Baby Boomers, people in their 40’s to 60’s and younger danced like there was no tomorrow, feeling as though they had taken a ride back in time to the days of their youth.


Vocalist Richard Butler, bassist Tim Butler,  keyboardist Amanda Kramer, guitarist Rich Good and drummer Zachary Alford are a music powerhouse, a force to be reckoned with. Thusly, proven by their tireless energy showcased from one sensational tune to the next. The band didn’t miss a queue and played all of their glorious hits and then some.

The Furs are currently navigating to major U.S. cities on their spring 2023 concert tour and are celebrating the 2020 release of their most recent album “Made Of Rain”. Just one year shy of three decades since the group’s album “World Outside”, the current album signifies their relative place in the music industry. One their fans haven’t forgotten. It only proves how much perseverance they really have.
