Remembering the Silver Fox better know as Vicente Fernandez

I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing one of many music legends during their careers and one of them was the legendary Mexican ranchero singer and actor Vicente Fernandez. 

Even though I could barely understand most of his song lyrics, I could relate to the music performed by the mariachi symphony in the roundabout stage pit. The sold out crowd of worshippers hung on every note and sang along with the Silver Fox.

I was amazed by this moving performance and that Vicente was still standing tall at the end of his concert, even after downing nine tequila shots. Here’s a fun fact…Fernandez was the same age as my father.
