I begin my lifelong concert journey with AC/DC

Updated: Feb 24, 2023

Hey, you music lovers out there. I’d like to take you on a lifelong journey with a sampling of some of the 850 plus concerts I’ve attended so far. Each month I will post about a different band/artist in alphabetical order to make things even more fun. So get comfortable, relax and enjoy the ride.

When I was at the ripe young age of 13, I attended my very first concert AC/DC. I was so excited to see these Australian rockers because they were my favorite band at the time. Everyone who knows me is familiar with that and anyone who had been inside my bedroom did too because of the “Highway To Hell” poster hanging at the foot of my bed. You know the one with Angus Young’s famous snarl.

The band was on a world tour of their second album with lead singer Brian Johnson (Bon Scott’s replacement after his death). “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)” would become one of AC/DC’s most prolific contributions to rock music. This is exactly why these seasoned musicians are still as relevant today as the band’s inception into the industry in 1973.

Disclaimer: I have utilized stock photography for this blog since I didn’t shoot photos of this band.
