I didn’t know what to expect during the time I attended a Los Lobos concert. Their band name translates to “The Wolves” in English (in case you’re curious). They became famous by their rendition of Richie Valens song “La Bamba”.
Even though most of their songs were sung in their native Spanish language. Although, it didn’t appear to affect the crowd from understanding the international language of dance.
I, however, was lost in translation, but still enjoyed made the best of it. It just goes to show that you can’t judge a band by its movie hit. They were great!
